Since ADA's founding in 1947, the Annual Voting Records have served as the standard measure of political liberalism. Combining 20 key votes on a wide range of social and economic issues, both domestic and international, the Liberal Quotient (LQ) provides a basic overall picture of an elected official's political position.
ADA Today is ADA's flagship publication that provides news, policy analysis, voting records, opinions, and more. It is published quarterly.
Income and Inequality
The growing gap between the rich and poor and the super-rich and the middle-class is a chief concern among ADA members. ADA issues frequent investigative reports on the economy, wages, unemployment, and more in two publications - Income and Inequality and the Misery Index.
ADA members receive email alerts when action is needed and a weekly update on Congressional activity. Click here to review the archives.
