 Did you know it's now easy -- not just to Buy American, but to Buy Union, too? Then you know you're not getting a good buy as a gift from poverty-wage workers.
In my childhood we always looked for the union label when we bought clothes. Today it's hard enough to find a "Made in America" label on anything. But now it's possible to Buy American and Buy Union. See the American Rights At Work "Union Shop" website. http://americanrightsatwork.org/blog/unionshop/ The site lists many categories of products. It's good to know that goods you're buying already are made by well-paid workers, as I was happy to learn today that "Puffs" tissues are union made. Also Ken's salad dressing is Union Made. I'm enjoying them more already. Honest!
