Specter on Workers' Rights

Long-time Republican Senator Arlen Specter announced today his decision to switch to the Democratic Party. While we look forward to the end of Republican obstructionism, Senator Specter’s decision will do no good if he does not also modify his position on several key issues. For example, Specter co-sponsored the Employee Free Choice Act in 2005 but switched positions on the bill in late March. He even went as far as to say that he’ll actively work to block the bill from coming to vote. Call Arlen Specter today (202-224-4254) and tell him not to abandon his commitment to working families!
