 The Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy has touched us all. We grieve for the loss of life, innocence, and peace of mind that yet another senseless killing has brought us.
Unfortunately, gun violence happens everyday because we have allowed narrow ideological factions to hold the safety of the masses hostage to the 'freedoms' of the few.
The killers in Newtown, Aurora and Tucson all used semi-automatic assault weapons. These guns were not designed for hunting or protection, they were designed as weapons -- to kill as quickly as possible.
Sign the petition to call on your Representatives and Senators to take action now to pass an assault weapons ban.
