Four More Years of Bush? No Thanks.

In an outrageous statement today presumptive Republican presidential nominee Senator John McCain (R-AZ) said the Iraq war will be won and Osama bin Laden will be captured by the end of his first term.

“Someone should remind John McCain his first term isn’t going to last 100 years,” said ADA National Director Amy Isaacs.  “Because that’s how long he once said he’d be happy to have our troops fight.”

John McCain has stated repeatedly that he supports President Bush’s war strategy – the same strategy that has failed to win the war or capture bin Laden in more than 5 years! 

We need solutions, not empty promises based on failed strategies!

Help ADA bring an end to this war. 

ADA is currently working to add a plan for troop withdrawal to the Department of Defense supplemental funding bill which provides money for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.  We need your help.

Call your Representative and tell him or her that we can’t trust John McCain to win the war using Bush’s same failed plan.  It needs to end now!
