Americans for Democratic Action praised passage of President Obama’s job creation and economic recovery plan.

The plan will begin rebuilding the middle class by investing in infrastructure, energy, health care and public schools and providing funds for states to continue critical services.  The plan is expected to create or save three to four million jobs and set the country on the right track for long term economic recovery.

No Republicans in the House supported the plan.

ADA National Director Amy Isaacs said: “Republicans are shirking responsibility for the mess they created.  After years of mismanaging the economy, ignoring the needs of low and middle income working Americans, they said today, ‘not our problem.’  Fortunately more sensible heads prevailed and we are now moving forward to address this historic crisis.”
