Richard Parker, President of the Board: “As great as Sen. Kennedy’s legacy is, the final chapter is not yet written. The struggle to achieve quality, affordable health care for every American is the final unwritten chapter that we must still pursue. “Our hearts go out to his family, staff and constituents. Not just those in Massachusetts, but people all over the country who shared his vision of economic and social justice. They could not be limited by state borders and they number in the millions.” Michael J. Wilson, National Director: “On behalf of the ADA staff, board and our members across the nation, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Senator Kennedy’s family, staff and the people of Massachusetts. “He was known as the Liberal Lion because of his leadership on so many issues we hold dear.
